How to use Physics Sandbox

Tap anywhere to add a moving ball. Add several balls to create collisions, then change gravity while the simulation is running. The score counts ball-to-ball contacts.

Controls

Tap/click to add balls. Use the gravity buttons to change vertical acceleration, and Clear to reset the sandbox.

This is a free browser physics experience with no real-money wagering, cash prizes or required account.

What to try

What the physics shows

Changing gravity alters every trajectory at once, while collisions transfer velocity locally between balls. The sandbox makes it easy to separate those two effects because you can change the global force without rebuilding the scene.

Why replay it?

Small changes create visibly different outcomes, so the fastest way to understand the system is to repeat the same setup and then change one variable at a time. PegFlux keeps the controls compact so the experiment stays readable on both desktop and mobile.

Three quick experiments to try

First, fill the bottom of the box under normal gravity and switch to zero gravity to see stored motion spread through the group. Second, build the same cluster and choose reverse gravity so the entire system migrates toward the ceiling. Third, add only two or three balls under low gravity and compare how long they remain in motion after a collision. Keeping the starting scene simple makes each change easier to interpret.
